This lookout tower is really special because you don't climb it, but look from below through the tower at a mirror construction that shows you the rhododendron plants around it. The "landscape window" is particularly spectacular when the rhododendrons are in bloom, but the tower's construction makes it worth a visit in general.

The rhododendron park in Westerstede is wonderful to look at. How beautiful it has to look when everything is in bloom. But even now at this time of year in April the sight was worth seeing.

This landscape window shows the rhododendron. On the historic Gießelhorster Kirchweg, the visitor will find the lookout tower in a typical commercial forest with many older rhododendrons that have grown up to 10 meters high. A special feature is the mirror construction of the roof, with which the beauty of the rhododendron splendor is directed into the tower and can be experienced beyond the horizon.
