The observation tower, which was renovated in 2021 and is affectionately called the pencil by the people of Cadolzburg because of its shape, received a monument award from the Free State of Bavaria in 2023. You have a wonderful view and now the visible destinations are described on brass plaques.
In addition, Cadolzburg, which is located on both the German Castle Road and the Half-timbered Road, attracts the historic town center, the Historical Museum and the Hohenzollernburg (there is a combination ticket for the museum and the castle. - very worthwhile...)

When the weather is clear, the 25 meter high observation tower offers a far-reaching panoramic view. At about halfway up there is a small balcony on one side of the tower, accessible through a wooden door. Slightly tapered in the upper part, the covered viewing platform protrudes above the consoles. The tower is to commit against a donation contribution.
Opening hours: Generally open from sunrise to sunset unguarded.
