This is one of the most impressive viewpoints on the island. From here you can see the entire valley of El Golfo at your feet.
It can be reached by car and on foot, although this excursion is recommended for people who are fit. It is more than 800 meters of ascent from Frontera, without many opportunities to catch your breath. However, it is a very beautiful route.

You can also walk to the town of San Andrés.

Attention - the camino down to Frontera is currently closed due to a rockfall... you can't get any further here... 28.02.2023

Visit the Mirador early or start the tour, for example to the Mirador de la Peña, early, as the Canarian fog rolls in at midday. For us it was 11am and within a few minutes the visibility was not only impaired, it was gone! The view is fantastic!
