In the Kemnade house there are great permanent exhibitions such as the musical instruments or the East Asian collection.
In addition, there are always special exhibitions - at the moment you can admire the marionettes of the "Augsburger Puppenkiste".

One of the best-preserved castles in the Ruhr Valley is not far from Lake Kemnade - the Wasserburg Haus Kemnade. The castle is now home to an important collection of musical instruments and an exhibition of East Asian art. A farmer's museum provides information about rural life in the 18th and 19th centuries.
