On October 17, 1960, the Bronner mill between Fridingen and the hunting lodge was completely destroyed by a landslide. At a height of about 200 meters and a height of 100 meters, at about three o'clock in the morning the slope over the mill slid down about 15 meters. About 500,000 tons of clay, gravel and rock (about 350,000 cubic meters) extinguished everything and killed three of the four present house occupants.
In March 2002, an unprocessed limestone figurine was moved from the nearby edge of the forest to the mill's former site.

From the mill you do not see much, but there is a fish ladder integrated into the weir, great thing, despite the obstacle so the fish can walk to their spawning grounds
