After extensive planning by the association "Europäische Kultur- und Naturlandschaft Häuselloh e.V.", the foundation stone for a people-connecting passage chapel was laid in May 2006 at the Ackerl on the German-Czech border. A place of reflection and reconciliation was to be created. In September 2006, construction work began on the chapel with larch wood beams, the larch wood shingles were made in Liebenstein. The altar of the chapel is made of Wunsiedler marble, the glass cross comes from Waldsassen. The bell for the border chapel, which was made in the Perner bell foundry in Passau, bears the inscription in German and Czech “God protect nature, give peace and freedom to the peoples”. It was only possible to build the chapel thanks to voluntary work and many donations. The chapel was consecrated on May 17, 2007, and the service was performed jointly by Protestant and Catholic clergy from Germany and the Czech Republic.

Next to the chapel is a granite stone with a hollow carved on the surface. The "Liebensteiner Stein" serves as a fountain. The stone has the following inscription: "The stones are not mute, they are just silent."

The Torkapelle "Ackerl"

After extensive planning by the ENKL association, the foundation stone was laid in May 2006 on the German-Czech border at the Ackerl for an unifying chapel as a place of contemplation and reconciliation.
