The small corridor chapel worth seeing was built in 2010 and is located directly on Mühlenweg, a 16 km long circular route in the Franconian Forest. In 2016, as part of a celebration with many high-profile personalities from politics, the work with the consecration of the bell tower was completed. The guest of honor was Landtag President Barbara Stamm, who acts as Godmother of the bell.

The chapel in Hinterrehberg, which is idyllically located in a small garden on a hill, was lovingly built in-house by the Franconian Forest Association Neuensorg under the leadership of Bruno Tittel. The interior is clad with wood and has been adorned by a small bell tower since 2016. The chapel invites hikers and walkers to stop and pray for a short time, it is freely accessible at all times.
