                    The Castelfeder hill is an ancient cultural landscape with traces of settlements from the Stone and Bronze Ages. The remains of a castle complex, the legendary fertility slide, bowl stones and the walls of the Barbara Chapel bear witness to a mystical past. The area is important from an archaeological, historical and ecological point of view. Years ago it was placed under landscape protection as a biotope.                             Always worth a little trip. From Castelfeder there is a wonderful view south of the Adige Valley. The area is inhabited by wild animals. This time it was goats 🐐.

                              Although the hill of Castelfeder is not particularly large, it has a lot to offer. There is a very special atmosphere here. Really great. You should just let the place sink in.
