The refuge has been recently renovated, has a dining room on the ground floor, a beautiful terrace with tables and bedrooms on the upper floors. We stayed overnight in tents on the plain below the refuge, with the permission of the park ranger (it is forbidden to light fires in the whole area). For those who want, you can start from there for a splendid walk up to the Cime de Cougourde (border with France) from which, especially in the early morning, you can enjoy unparalleled views. You can also see wartime architecture now in ruins.

Refuge located at the top of the spur in a beautiful green plateau, reachable with a simple walk from San Giacomo di Entracque, with many marmots that accompany us on the way with their direction
