    Sure-footedness and a head for heights as minimum requirements only insufficiently reflect the requirements.
    There are unsecured climbing passages and the descent towards Gaisalpsee includes another strenuous climb.
    Without enough alpine experience, prefer to go on other tours.

              The Entschenkopf is a 2,043 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps - between Nebelhorn and Sonnenkopf - with a wide, high steep slope to the west and a 250 m crumbly northern flank to the north. Its south-facing mountain ridge forms the eastern boundary of the Gaisalptal. The upper Gaisalpsee with a size of 0.8 hectares at 1,769 m lies on a step in a high valley, which is surrounded by Rubihorn (1957 m), Gaisalphorn (1919 m) and Geißfuß (1981 m) in the southwest and by the Entschenkopf (2043 m) and its southern ridge, which runs to the Nebelhorn massif (2224 m), is formed in the northeast. There is no above-ground drainage. The lower, larger Gaisalpsee lies at an altitude of 1,508 m. It is 3.5 hectares in size and drains via the Gaisalpbach to the Iller.
