Today it was lovely to watch the cows bathing in the lake.

The Upper Gaisalpsee is a 0.8 hectare high mountain lake at 1769 meters altitude in the Allgäu Alps. It has no surface runoff and is located in a terrain south of the Lower Gaisalpsee (1508 m), which is dominated by Rubihorn, Gaisalphorn, Gaisfuß, Gundkopf, Nebelhorn and Entsche head.
The lake is located on the trail from Reichenbach to Nebelhorn on the Gaisalpe, Lower Gaisalpsee, Gaisfußsattel, Great Gund and Edmund Probst House.
