Most of Salland looked like the Boetelerveld until the late 19th century. The Boetelerveld is the only remaining wet heath area in Salland.

At the moment they are very busy here with work to experience the heath again. It is interesting to see, but not so beautiful at the moment.

In January it was not yet beautiful. All dead and dehydrated, nothing will happen to them.
