Beautifully designed barrier-free beach promenade with playgrounds, restaurants, many art exhibits and small wooden jetties. Pleasant to do and always a nice view of the Bay of Lübeck. On the western side is still worth the small harbor and the pier.

Beach promenade Timmendorfer Strand Niendorf
Here you can let the Baltic wind blow around your nose and enjoy the maritime life on the beach promenade.
The promenade stretches for a total of seven kilometers from the Ostseetherme in Timmendorfer Strand to the saltwater indoor pool in Niendorf. Numerous bathing spots on around 80 stretches of beach entice you to relax on the fine sand or in one of the comfortable beach chairs.

There are five surf schools along the promenade. To the right of the Maritim pier in Timmendorfer Strand and on the free beach in Niendorf, everything is under the motto fitness. A free sports program takes place here from the end of June to the end of August, including yoga, Nordic walking and aquaball.

From October to April, dogs are allowed to walk along the entire promenade. In the summer months you can swim with your four-legged friend on the two dog beaches.
