This exciting park, designed by Prince Pückler-Muskau, covers an area of 100 hectares. So, about 200 football fields would fit in! Odd mountains and pyramids rise between landscaped gardens. The Baroque Castle houses a collection of paintings by Carl Blechen and the Fürst Pückler Museum. Incidentally, the prince and his wife have chosen the water pyramid as the final resting place.
From May to October you can always invite your loved ones for a gondola ride on the first Sunday of Monday. The rides start on the flower lake and then lead on the artificial waterways through the park.
The landscape park is rightly since 2004 to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.

In addition to the pyramids and the castle, there are 6 lakes (Schwarzer See, Schlosssee, Blumensee, Schilfsee, Pyramidensee, Schlangensee), the Hermannsberg, the hereditary burial, the Golden Pineapple, the visitor center in the Gutsökonomie - a park map is available there free of charge.

In the center of the Branitz Park is the castle, built between 1770 and 1772. It houses the Fürst-Pückler-Museum with historical living rooms and an exhibition on the life and work of Prince Pückler as well as the Cottbus collection with paintings by Carl Blechen. Opposite the castle are the stables with exhibition rooms and the cavalier house, in which there is a restaurant.
