Who built this castle and when is unknown. It was first mentioned in 1346, but even then it must have been in disrepair, because the new owners were asked to repair the house, walls and moat. Just a few years later the castle was destroyed again during a siege. The pattern was repeated many times in the following centuries and by the end of the 16th century the castle was no longer inhabited and fell into disrepair.

Today you can still see a section of the wall from the multi-storey main building, the remains of a fireplace and a pillar and parts of the fortification wall. The short climb is worth it and the view is wonderful. There are tables and benches for a short rest or a picnic.

In the remains of the castle walls from the 13th century, a window with a view into the distance has been preserved. This gives the term "watching television" its original meaning back. To the left of it, the outline of the fireplace can be seen.
