    Very beautiful sculpture that harmonises well with the fountain in front of the town hall. A real eye-catcher and one of the works of art by the sculptor Sabine Mädl in and around Ursensollen. The "Rathausbrunnen" is station 1 of the Ursensollen sculpture trail.

      The fountain with the Middle High German minstrel "Albrecht von Scharffenberg" was designed and made by the sculptor Sabine Mädl from Kotzheim on the occasion of the 850th anniversary of the Ursensollen village. "Albrecht von Scharffenberg" is probably the most famous son of the community. He lived in the second half of the 13th century. The artwork was placed in 1996 on the town hall square. This is where good Albrecht lets his bronze sounds sound. Next to him, a clear stream of water ripples out of the pipe. Albrecht casually leans against the stone stele and plucks the strings of his instrument with his right hand. Which lovely girl may his verses be about? Or what adventure of brave knights does he report?
