The Pap of Glencoe, or properly Sgorr na Cìche, is an instantly recognisable conical hump that rises in isolation at the far western end of the Aonach Eagach ridge system. Its beguiling shape and position overlooking the village of Glencoe makes it the region’s most notable mini-mountain.

The views from the summit are breathtaking. To the north, the Mamores’ switchback ridges are resplendent, while Beinn a’ Bheithir looks absolutely massive above Loch Leven. Beyond the loch, the distant mountains of Ardgour, unfamiliar to many, will have you planning future visits.
