The Sulzer Wasserfall is a waterfall of the Sulzbach, which flows into the Almbach on the left side on the Untersberg in the Berchtesgaden Alps. With a drop of 114 meters, it is the eleventh highest waterfall in Germany. The Sulzer waterfall was created by backward erosion of the Almbach in the Ramsau Dolomites on the southern flank of the Untersberg. It falls into the Almbachklamm in a total of five cascades. The Sulzbach flows with its waterfall into the Almbach at this point. The Sulzer waterfall is largely devoid of vegetation.

Very beautiful waterfall in the Almbachklamm, which is the eleventh highest waterfall in Germany with a drop of 114 m. Nice and popular photo motive.

The path to the left of the Sulzacher waterfall up to the pilgrimage church and to Ettenberg is very well developed over partly wide wooden footbridges. However, it is quite consistently steeply upwards. The specified 45 minutes to the pilgrimage church are well and generously calculated.

Walk the Almbachklamm to the Theresenklause and then back on the opposite side. However, the path does not lead directly to the gorge but made a detour to Ettenberg. Altogether approx. 10 km.

the Almbachklamm can be walked in 2 circular paths above the Albach bridge, left over the Kugelmühlenalm or right at the bridge over fields, meadows and forests ... both are very beautiful and the gorge is always beautiful

One of many waterfalls where you can see with what force the water has made its way over the years. Who likes such natural spectacles definitely comes here at its expense. Sure-footedness and good footwear I would recommend, as it can be slippery in many places

The waterfall is not only worth a detour because of its height. Since a lot of water has left deep and clear traces in the rock, it also shows very impressively the power of water and how it affects its surroundings. The way to get there is partly very slippery due to wet conditions, so good footwear should definitely be part of the equipment.

The gorge is simply breathtaking and fascinating. Be sure to hike to Theresienklause and then take the ascent towards the Ettenberg pilgrimage church (but be careful: alpine climb)
