The Zeppezauerhaus is just a few meters from the mountain station of the Untersbergbahn. With a fantastic view, you can rest from your ascent here or prepare for your descent.

If you are planning a multi-day tour over the Untersberg massif, the Zeppezauerhaus is perfect for an overnight stay. From here you can then hike on to the Stöhrhaus the next day or choose a descent route.

The hut is open from May to mid-October and has 14 beds and 40 sleeping places in the mattress dormitory. More information and reservations at zeppezauerhaus.at.

Very nice alpine club hut with super nice landlords. Good food, simple but cozy furnishings and a great view of the Chiemgau, Salzburg and Berchtesgaden Alps.
