An alp that couldn't be more beautiful! A little above the Bacino di Alpe Gera (reservoir) is this alpine pasture with some huts that are lovingly maintained. Built from stones from the area in front of the glaciers of Piz Argient Zupò by the Bernina Group, the alpine pasture looks like something out of a picture book. I took a longer break here when the pastures were deserted in September. In addition to numerous marmots, even a golden eagle sailed past me.

Alpe Gembrè is a charming mountain pasture located just above the artificial lake of Alpe Gera. Here, among the typical mountain huts of the Manenco valley, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Fellaria glacier and fill your water bottles with the fresh water from the fountain.
