In Büdelsdorf, there are two remarkable megalithic tombs. The first tomb is described in Ernst Sprockhoff's atlas as an original dolmen, the second is a later-discovered, expanded dolmen. These megalithic structures were built between 3500 and 2800 BC as part of the Funnelbeaker culture (TBK).

South of the road to Borgstedt, in what is now an industrial park, there was a burial ground with seven long barrows and five burial mounds. The tombs were presumably constructed by the inhabitants of the nearby earthwork of Büdelsdorf. Today, only the street name "An den Reesenbetten" (At the Reesen Beds) recalls the former necropolis. Before the industrial park was developed, the burial sites were thoroughly investigated. Among other things, the remains of an expanded dolmen were discovered. The burial chamber was reconstructed using original stones in the immediate vicinity of the roundabout between Büdelsdorf and Borgstedt.
