The hike to the Small Kordigast (538 m above sea level) with its bizarre rock formations is worthwhile in any case, even if the hiking trail sometimes already has some features of a via ferrata. Good footwear is needed in any case.

The Kordigast is the northernmost foothill of the Frankenalb with the two corner points, the Großer Kordigast (536 m) with a wonderful view of the Obermaintal and the Kleine Kordigast (538 m) with the legendary rock group of the Steinerne Hochzeit.

A witness mountain, consisting of the small and the large Kordigast. In the 4th and 5th centuries B.C. first settled by the Celts.
An absolute highlight when it comes to the view. An approx. 180° panoramic view from Staffelberg with Banz Monastery to Plassenburg and Ochsenkopf. A gigantic panorama that should not be missed.
