In the time of the Cold War, this beautiful thatched roof house once served as a border information point with a small exhibition on the former German / German border. I used to visit this exhibition many times.

The Grenzhus in Schlagsdorf is an education and meeting center for young and old people from East and West. It is a place of remembrance and learning that reflects the division of Germany.
