It is located on the Tannbach near its confluence with the Schnaitbach. It was powered by the Tannbach and stands on the district Hochdorf. The Tannbach and then the lower Schnaitbach form the boundary between the districts of Calw and Freudenstadt. The mill building with the former restaurant "Zum Jägerstüble" is still preserved and inhabited. Likewise the still flooded Sägwaag.

As soon as you enter the quaint ensemble of various buildings, you feel transported back to a bygone era. The old inn, with its single-glazed windows, has a rustic feel. As a child, I experienced this form of retreat as standard. By the lamplight, I saw old farmers, hunters, and other regular staff sitting over an evening drink and sharing stories.

Next to it is the small chapel, decorated by the women of the chapel for a religious holiday by candlelight...
Bygone times. Memories that revive and can reveal the beauty of simple life. Even if everything here is in disrepair.
