It is a beautiful chapel next to the town of Bolvir, which in turn is next to one of the best hotels in Spanish Cerdanya. This chapel marks the beginning of one of the 2 variants (the hardest, along a narrow but in perfect condition road) to reach Guils, and later to the Guils - Fontanera cross-country ski resort.

Its position, in the middle of the Catalan Pyrenees natural park, makes it a privileged passage for admiring 360° of the mountains, valleys and plains of this protected area. If you pass by, take the time to look around for yourself and enjoy the view.

Llívia is a municipality located in the Cerdanya region. Geographically it is located in the French state, as a consequence of the Treaty of the Pyrenees of 1659. Located at 1223 meters above sea level, it is crossed by the Segre River. It is the oldest human group in Cerdanya, dating back to the end of the Bronze Age. It was colonized by the Romans at the end of the 1st century BC and due to its particular geographical location, it is right at the most comfortable pass in the Pyrenees, it has had an uninterrupted human presence throughout history, seeing the Visigoth domination pass, Muslim and again Christian.

It is a mountain pass that connects Conflent with Cerdanya. It can be reached in a multitude of variants. For me there are 4 clear aspects: - Eastern slope - from Olette along the main road N116 - West slope - from Sallagosa on the main road N116 - West slope - from Sallagosa along the secondary road that crosses the Col de Llo and the town of Eyne - West slope - from Llivia crossing Estavar and the Col d'Egat. With some nuances, in general the 4 slopes are soft and long. The views from the port on both sides are beautiful, especially towards the Eyne ski resort. It must be taken into account that the two slopes that run along the N116 highway have a lot of traffic, with motorcycles and trucks.

Very quiet town at the foot of the ski resort with the same name. From here to the station there are 3 km with an initial section at 10%. Crossing the town of Eyne is a very good alternative to the main road that goes from Col de la Perche to Sallagosa, both up and down.
