橋の下にある美しい滝。

かつてはるかに多くの住民がいた、とても美しい小さな村。

Standing on a granite spur overlooking the Castellane River, the ruins of Paracolls Castle have guarded the deep, narrow gorges carved by the river for centuries. It is one of the oldest fortresses in Conflent (its name is mentioned in 948), built, as its name suggests, to defend a pass (in this case, a defile). It was part of the network of signal towers that stretched as far as Mosset and beyond, towards the Col de Jau. It is believed that Paracolls was the birthplace of the Catalan troubadour Béranger, "educated, courteous, and valiant, but not very wealthy." photos-pour-ot-et-bm-087 Part of the chapel dedicated to Saint Peter remains: the semicircular apse and part of the nave, a cistern, and sections of the walls. Paracolls is accessible on foot from the spa park and from Campôme. There is a beautiful view of Molitg and the valley upstream towards Mosset and downstream towards Prades.

Campôme is a medieval village that has retained a rural soul and a discreet charm that is well worth discovering. Reserved, it is appreciated for its calm. Its narrow streets hide small squares, bread ovens, and fountains that, if you listen carefully, tell stories of yesteryear from a rural world steeped in Catalan culture.

A huge wooded and flowery park, in the heart of an exceptional natural site, the Castellane gorges, hanging gardens, rare plants and century-old trees, all facing Canigou.

Beautiful path along a water channel, for example on the way to the Pic du Roussilon or on a walk between Mosset and the Mas Lluganas (e.g. for dinner). The path runs between Mosset and Molitg-les-Bains. But you shouldn't let yourself be distracted by the adventurous GPS recordings and the marked path, but should stubbornly follow the channel. The channel also goes much further than the marked section, but I couldn't mark that because of the direction of our hike. Just look at the map...

The Molitg baths are exquisite and wild at the same time.
