Small, fine downhill stretch (Brunstorf -> Schwarzenbek)

Perfect for a little break. Beautiful view over the fields.

In 1817, the dilapidated St. Peter's Church was demolished and replaced by the current building. The new church was built of fieldstones, consecrated on August 29, 1819, and dedicated to the Apostle Peter. The interior of the church was redesigned in 1959/60, during which the galleries on the north and south sides, which also housed the patron's pew belonging to the estate owners' family, were removed. The oil painting "Adoration of the Child" (late 18th century) on the altar comes from the previous church. The clock bell is the oldest church possession; it was cast as early as the 13th century. The Schack bell, dating from 1620, has been ringing for four centuries. The alms box was first mentioned in 1685, and the Lüneburg Baroque baptismal angel from 1695 has hung from the ceiling for almost as long. Nice bike path, little going on

Coming from the north, when turning east, make sure that you turn onto the bike path (the second left), otherwise you will end up on the first left on the golf course. If you notice late and then, thanks to the embankment and fence, you can only get back on the right path by turning around.

The passage is a bit hidden - you can quickly pass it if you're not careful. Looks closed, but is publicly accessible and also signposted as a cycle path. The narrow path leads right through between the golf courses of the Brunstorf Golf & Country Club. The club has the Championship Course and the Brunstorf Süd golf course. The former (with 6 different tees) also requires a high degree of concentration and skill from experienced golfers, but can also be mastered by beginners. Obstacles - such as the 21 water areas and the cleverly placed bunkers - can be easily played around. The fairways are varied and always present the golfer with new challenges. The Brunstorf Süd golf course is based on English coastal courses. So it is not planted and the wind, which blows unhindered here, offers an additional attraction. The panoramic view from the terrace and the "Langenbacher" restaurant consoles you over many a failure.
