The classic and arguably most-visited peak of the Eastern Pyrenees. Due to its location, this mountain can be seen far into France. The gravel road to the Ras dels Cortalets parking lot requires good shock absorbers (please correct me if it's no longer allowed to drive there). From there, it's only 600 meters of elevation gain via Pic Joffre to the summit. The second ascent from the south is somewhat more challenging, so a traverse is also possible.

Costabona (2465m) 100 summits of the F.E.E.C. Costabona is located at the junction of the Canigó massif with the axis of the Pyrenees and therefore has a privileged view over it. It is the first peak of more than 2000 meters (it is 2465 meters high) that we find coming from Cap de Creus. This means that during the ascent we enjoy a splendid panorama over the entire province of Girona, from the sea to Balandrau and (already in France) from Canigó to (already in Barcelona) Montserrat. It is an ascent that does not present any kind of difficulty and is extremely rewarding since with little effort we will be able to enjoy excellent views (keep in mind, however, the presence of snow). If you have to schedule an outing with people who are not used to walking, this is undoubtedly one of the most recommended climbs as it offers splendid panoramic views throughout the ascent with a very moderate effort.
