Very beautiful pond is idyllically situated

An idyllic pond with beautiful water lilies in the summer on the village street in Grabau, which also serves as a fire water reservoir. But the pond isn't actually that big - it's only called that because there's also a small village pond a little further away.

The transformer station at the intersection of Möllner Straße and Heideweg in Büchen attracts attention. A lively and cheerful scene refers to the nearby forest swimming pool in Büchen. What is special: the bathers are a whole flock of small animals that have gathered there for a happy outing. Geese, storks, beavers and many more meet there, laden with picnic baskets, beach towels, handcarts and swimming rings. The facade painting, which spans all four walls, is a commissioned work by the company art-EFX, which has already individually worked on a large number of gray facades. The company art-EFX from Potsdam carries out artistic facade designs for exterior and interior areas as commissioned work. Idyllic place with a stable bench in very beautiful nature for a rest at the Steinaubrücke. Whenever we pass here, we always take a short break. It has become one of our favorite spots for many years. In 2016, the Steinau was extensively renatured here, as is also documented by the inscription on the large boulder. If you want, you can also cool off your feet here. Four-legged friends their paws too, of course.
