While strolling between the tall rows of trees on Place de la Carrière, it's worth taking a look at the rooftops running parallel to it. A veritable flood of chimneys is spread across the roof gables. A quirky sight.

Very spacious and beautifully landscaped park

The long square connects the old town with the 18th century new town, which was founded by Duke Stanislas. The west and east sides are bordered by two rows of plane trees.
