Heinrich von Dechen was a pioneer of geology in the 19th century. He intensively researched the geological features of the Siebengebirge hills, documented the volcanic origin of the region, and thus made a significant contribution to scientific understanding and tourist awareness.

The monument honors the famous Cologne singer-songwriter and carnival composer Willi Ostermann for his contribution to Rhineland culture and musical tradition. It is a place of remembrance and appreciation for his works.

As the altitude increases, the view becomes more and more amazing.

The ancient agricultural culture of the meadow orchard seemed to have been forgotten, but at some point it was brought out of the proverbial "sinking" and experienced a comeback. This is also the case here on the slopes of the Siebengebirge, in the immediate vicinity of the "Löwenburger Hof".

This monument, which stands a little off the hiking trail, is dedicated by the Siebengebirge Beautification Association to its president, Heinrich von Dechen. There are two benches nearby.
