Beautiful view of the port of Tréport and the sea

The first funicular railway in Le Tréport was inaugurated on July 1, 1908, in the presence of Gaston d'Orléans and his wife Isabelle, Count and Countess of Eu. The Cordiers district dates back to the 18th century. It was reclaimed from the sea and partially destroyed during World War II. Its name comes from its first inhabitants. The fishermen were too poor to buy nets and used long ropes with hooks on the beach. This district features small streets and houses with wrought iron balconies and decorative ceramic tiles.
