Im Wald von Eawy wurde während des Zweiten Weltkrieges vom deutschen Militär eine V1-Abschussbasis errichtet. Auf dem frei zugänglichen und als Mahnmal gestalteten Gelände befinden sich u. a. mehrere teilrestaurierte Gebäude (Unterstände, Werkstätten, Einmannbunker) und eine Abschussrampe. Tafeln in französischer, englischer und deutscher Sprache erläutern den Ort, der in einem Rundgang erschlossen werden kann.

Close to the Côte d'Albâtre on the Cauchois plateau, the commune of Grandes Ventes is a friendly town where you will find local shops and something to eat. The origins of the chapel go back to the 12th century. Remodeling took place in the 16th and 18th centuries. A stream flows behind this chapel and characterizes a small hiking area. Really nice place!
