Im Wald von Eawy wurde während des Zweiten Weltkrieges vom deutschen Militär eine V1-Abschussbasis errichtet. Auf dem frei zugänglichen und als Mahnmal gestalteten Gelände befinden sich u. a. mehrere teilrestaurierte Gebäude (Unterstände, Werkstätten, Einmannbunker) und eine Abschussrampe. Tafeln in französischer, englischer und deutscher Sprache erläutern den Ort, der in einem Rundgang erschlossen werden kann.

It is apparently a popular place for paragliders in the region. During my visit, I also came across one waiting for a favorable wind.
