Beautiful "belly band" mosaic by Walter Womacka.

East of Alexanderplatz, the "House of Teachers" was built between 1961 and 1964 on the site of the teachers' association building, which had been destroyed in the war. A striking feature of the 54-meter-tall concrete structure is the 125-meter-long "belly band"—a seven-meter-high frieze by Walter Womacka—that runs around the third and fourth floors. The motifs depicted scenes from social life in East Germany. Following renovations, the former House of Teachers now houses offices and commercial spaces.

"View of the Berlin TV Tower" – marked as a highlight. Because, of course: A tower that can be seen from anywhere in the city absolutely needs its own point on the map. Apparently, it doesn't matter how spectacular a place is, but rather that a red dot can be placed for every highly visible structure.
