Great valley, highly recommended

A small highlight in Rhineland-Palatinate. The almost continuous cycle path is really great.

One could also add to an existing highlight instead of uselessly duplicating it. But it's good: a good pedestrian/cycle bridge is located right near the Bürgerzentrum parking lot and "Steinstraße." It's a good option for crossing the Wied, just taking photos of the Wied, or accessing the beautiful alpine trail of the Neustädter Wiedschleife and the "Neustädter Rippeln" (Neustädter Rippeln). All trails, such as the Wiedweg, Kölner Weg, and other tours, pass by here.

The bridge takes you over the Wied and gives you great views of the river.

From the Schleifenberg and Lahr Castle you have a wonderful view over Burglahr in the valley and the surrounding mountains of the Westerwald.

The path through the Grenzbach valley is always a pleasure. You roll on fine gravel through the green landscape and follow the stream. It is so rural here that cows sometimes stand in the middle of the path and have to be pushed to the side.
