Junction 14b is very steep and seems to never end. Thank goodness we took it uphill—not for the faint of heart at the end of the slope—narrow, unsecured, and thorny. I've rarely been so happy to be back on paved roads at the top. 😁 But you're rewarded with a fantastic view.

Luckily there is the Haslhof refuge which makes a delicious egg, cheese and bacon omelette. We set off on our mountain bikes from Morter towards the Covelano fork and a crunchy descent. We were really hungry, top!

After being closed due to storm damage in August 2025, the road from Uina Dadora is open again. See also: https://www.scuol.net/de/informationen/aktuelles.html/212/news/6057 ... Road reopening: Friday, September 12, 2025 Please note the following restrictions! The road is CLOSED to motorized traffic during the day (7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)! Motorized passage to Uina Dadora is possible as follows: All day on weekends and Monday to Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The entire route is open to pedestrians and cyclists at all times. ATTENTION!! Construction traffic along the marked route. Drive slowly and carefully! ..."
