南端にある橋の門は街のランドマークです。 橋自体は美しい4連のユーゲントシュティール様式のアーチ橋でしたが、残念ながら1945年の戦争末期にナチスによって爆破され、戦後再建されませんでした。 代わりに純粋な機能主義の建造物が建てられ、2002/2003年に完全に改修され、視覚的に美化されました。 6つの橋の説教壇と明るい青色の塗装はこの時期のものです。

A small highlight for Traben-Trabach

The bridge is quite narrow and busy. Cars can't overtake cyclists. You can also walk on the footpath and push your bike.

The Traben-Trarbach Moselle Bridge is a road bridge over the Moselle River in the town of Traben-Trarbach in the Bernkastel-Wittlich district of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is part of State Road 187. At the southern end of the bridge stands the bridge gate, the town's landmark. As the abutment and gateway of the Moselle Bridge, it is a registered cultural monument. The abutment of the Moselle Bridge with its staircase at the northern end is another cultural monument. The steel bridge is located at kilometer mark 106.97 of the Moselle River. It is 239 m long and 8.89 m high. The Art Nouveau bridge was built in 1898/99. The architect of the four-part arched bridge and the bridge gate was Bruno Möhring.
