This apostle is often implored for help in desperate situations. Robert Retzmann was one of the last prisoners of war to return home. He then erected this wayside shrine himself. Here, the climb to Wershofen is almost complete. The steepest part has been conquered.

At the "Goldloch" of a former mine, there are information boards about the mine and the Ahr flood in July 2021. The events and consequences are impressively presented here.

From the waterfall path there is a wonderful view over Wershofen and the beautiful landscape of the Eifel.
