Zaber estuary

This bench is the perfect place to put your feet up and relax.

From here you have a great view over the fields to Stettenfels Castle, which towers over Untergruppenbach. In summer there is a beer garden at the top of the castle.

In some places it is still difficult to drive because of the loose chippings (as of 06.09.)

Really beautiful, but there is so much loose chippings in the rather flat lower part that it should be classified as a gravel route. No fun with thinner racing bike tires. (Status 08/24)

Etzlenswenden belongs to Beilstein and is located in the Schmidbach valley at an altitude of around 385 m on a steep south-facing slope. Etzlenswenden probably originated as a Franconian forest clearing settlement. The "Kelterle" with bell tower, renovated in 1981, indicates the importance of winegrowing in Etzlenswenden. Etzlenswenden was a purely agricultural street village for centuries, where cattle breeding used to predominate. The "Kelterle" is a sight to behold.

Good starting point for trips to Heilbronn or Stuttgart. The paths along the sNeckar are often used by pedestrians in the urban area. Caution.
