On the long loop around the Gålö peninsula, you'll inevitably stumble upon a small, unnamed inlet. A simple wooden bridge makes crossing easy – pause for a moment, look down at the water, and continue on. On the other side, the Morarnas Båtklubb awaits with a touch of nautical charm, and then the Skälåkers Weg trail carries you onward again. Unhurried, typically Swedish – just the way we like it ☺️🌊🚶‍♂️

Here, the food you brought along tastes twice as good. A natural balcony overlooking the sea, a view stretching far into the distance, the water shimmering gently below. You sit, chew, gaze – and think to yourself: That's all you need right now. 🌊🍞✨

Norra Sand is a long, shallow sandy beach. It’s known for being child-friendly and easy to access, making it great for families with kids or anyone who prefers a gentle, sandy shoreline rather than cliffs or rocks. There's also a picnic and barbeque area nearby.

If the weather is good, you just have to stop and rest on the bench here! Take in the beautiful views across the water to Tallholmen, Finnholmen, and countless smaller skerries and islets.
