The water cascades powerfully down a steep rock face and spreads out like a white fan over the rocks. The waterfall is most impressive at higher water levels, but even without much water, it's still a stunning sight.

A small hut with firewood where you can grill. You'll find huts like this everywhere on hikes in Finland. It's similar to the one below at the site, but it has a great view and is much quieter.

With a bit of luck you can spot ice climbers

The zoo is a real insider tip. A path made of wooden floorboards leads through the Finnish forest and past spacious enclosures with some native wild animals. At the same time, the zoo is also a “reception station” for injured, sick wild animals. They all live as naturally as possible and are therefore sometimes not to be seen at all. The zoo also has a small restaurant, very lovingly furnished and the prices are reasonable (lunch menu for about 15 € for adults and about 10 € for children - with soup, main course, salad and drink). We were very satisfied and can recommend it. PS: You can park in the parking lot with WoMo and caravan. There is a campsite next door for overnight stays.
