A very pleasant hotel with a wonderful SPA and wellness area. Great room facilities and a beautiful tranquility in the grounds of the hotel, only the birds are chirping! I can only recommend a trip on foot to Lake Glambeck!

Basthorst Castle is a castle complex built in 1823, situated on the shores of Lake Glambeck in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, along with the village of the same name. This Basthorst Castle should not be confused with Basthorst Manor in the Duchy of Lauenburg. The houses of the elongated village of Basthorst line both sides of an avenue leading directly to the castle gate, running southwest to northeast.
