プラウ・アム・ゼーは、メクレンブルク＝フォアポンメルン州のルートヴィヒスルスト＝パルヒン郡の東部に位置する、魅力的な州公認の気候保養地（ルフトクロート）の小都市です。この街は、連邦州で3番目に大きい湖であるプラウアー湖の絵のように美しい西岸に直接面しており、ミュリッツ＝エルデ水路にも面しています。見どころは、プラウアー・フーブブリュッケ（跳ね橋）、1888/89年建築のネーデルラント・ルネサンス様式の市庁舎がある絵のように美しい旧市街、13世紀の三廊形式の聖マリア教会（St. Marien）、城の塔、灯台のある港の遊歩道です。

The Plau am See lighthouse stands at the junction of Lake Plau and the Müritz-Elde waterway and was built in 2012. With its red and white wooden facade and viewing platform, it offers impressive panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding area. For cyclists, the lighthouse is an attractive destination on tours around Lake Plau: The nearby marina, fishing farms, and the waterfront promenade invite you to take a break, explore, and refresh yourself, ideally combining nature and physical activity.

Best view of the city.

A small town worth seeing that is very idyllic due to its location on the Elde. It has a beautifully restored historic old town, a castle museum, the historic lift bridge, a port worth seeing and much more to offer. It is definitely worth taking a long stroll through the town.

From the bridge you can watch the boats going through the lock (height difference 1.33 meters). The boats register with the lock keeper by telephone.
