A beautiful castle with a nice campsite.

Well-preserved castle that can also be visited. There is also a café inside (unfortunately only inside), but there is also a bench on the lawn in front of the castle for taking a break. They also thought about enough parking spaces for bikes right at the entrance.

Aldendriel Castle is a medieval castle, dating from 1477. It is located in the village of Mill, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. The moated castle consists of a front castle and a separate moated main castle. The first known inhabitant was Hendrik van der Voort van Aldendriel in about 1500. His coat of arms consists of a red lily on a silver shield, framed with five red blocks. The castle remains in the possession of this family until 1700. After that, the estate came into the hands of Messrs Van Well. At that time it was used as a hunting lodge and summer residence.
