On the way there and back, the wind blows predominantly from the southwest and tends to blow from the side, while the route along the main road "to the mountains" almost always leads against the wind and in the stream of exhaust fumes from cars.

I don't know why Komoot says that cycling is forbidden. We entered Steinway Park from above (from Granestrasse). A sign there expressly states that cycling is permitted. Either way: Steinway Park is a very beautiful park :)
