An iconic polder mill in the nature reserve Het Twiske, surrounded by water, meadows and reed fields. The Twiskemolen is still in operation and contributes to the management of the water level in the area. A beautiful piece of Dutch heritage, perfect as a stopover during a walk or bike ride.

Traditional Dutch picture! This mill has been on this site since 1974. In 2016 the mill was hit by a storm.

A wonderfully varied path through watery nature, where you often encounter cows. Beautiful in every season.

Broek originally came about as a retirement home for retired captains on long voyages. Correspondingly idyllic and rich in water, the old wooden houses are located in the immediate vicinity north of Amsterdam, which is rich in canals and canals.
