This is the De Arend corn mill in Zuidland. Year of construction: The mill was built in 1844 by order of Pieter de Gilde. Type: It is a round, white-plastered stone smock mill. Location: The mill is located on Molendijk in Zuidland, in the province of South Holland. Current function: The mill is still in operation and also serves as a shop selling various types of flour.

Don't miss this picturesque village! Zuidland has a charming village centre with cosy streets and old buildings.

You can take a wonderful boat trip along the Bernisse river here. The history of the Bernisse goes back centuries; the water already flowed through this kilometer-wide river, long before the first dikes were built on Voorne and Putten.

If you want to walk or cycle the entire route around De Bernisse, it is approximately 22 km.
