Boskoop's old town is a typical working-class neighborhood where craftsmen lived and worked. It contained all the shops needed for daily needs. In the 1950s, there were plans to demolish the neighborhood, but all residents protested, and its charm and atmosphere have been preserved to this day.

I was there early yesterday evening. The weather was beautiful and NO ONE was there. It's a shame because this is such a lovely place.

Ideal round for the beginning walker or someone who wants to run a round in nature. Also a great loop to include in a longer walk.

Even if you don't have a dog, it's fun to watch. Especially at the beach where dogs can go into the water.

Anyone who is averse to a pair of wet shoes should avoid this. We did this Laarzenpad in the winter when parts were a bit frozen but the ice was not thick enough............. Not everyone will like it but we enjoyed this beautiful part of the Bentwoud.

Children's Tree Forest The National Children's Tree Forest is located in the Bentwoud. In this forest, family members plant trees in memory of their newborn or deceased children. The forest consists of 5 tree rooms with Italian poplars and hornbeams and a central tree circle with 12 white poplars. The Children's Tree Forest is an initiative of the National Tree Planting Day Foundation and Staatsbosbeheer made 20 hectares available for its construction.
