Junction between the church and a drawbridge in Koudekerk aan den Rijn. The current drawbridge dates from 1929. The café has a large terrace overlooking the bridge and the Oude Rijn river.

The Meerburgermolen is a polder mill from 1684. The mill drains the Room and Meerburgerpolder of approximately 100 hectares with a head of 1.05 m. The mill was built in 1684 by Claes Jansz. van Staveren and Ary Jacobsz for 2,175 guilders.
